"I've always wanted to be a reporter, whether I was on TV or working at a newspaper," Hardin said. "It's great to finally have that chance to work and improve on my journalistic skills here in Greencastle."

Kim Puckett joins the BannerGraphic staff as a summer newsroom intern and staff writer. She is the daughter of Dan and Jo Puckett, Greencastle. She is a 2006 graduate of South Putnam High School. In the fall, she will be attending University of Indianapolis to major in Communications.

"Working at the BannerGraphic is a great opportunity for me to gain newspaper experience before heading off to college," Puckett said. "I get a chance to explore my future career options and report on my hometown's news."

Additionally, Jason Jarman now serves as the BannerGraphic sports editor. He is a native of Linton, and he previously worked at the Linton Daily Citizen in the sports department before transferring to Greencastle.
