Sign-up for walking program

Putnam County residents are reminded to lace up their shoes for the kickoff of Walking for Wellness, an eight- to 12-week program set to beginning Wednesday, Sept. 27 at many locations around the county.

Participants may register or pick up materials between 8 and 10 a.m. or 3 and 6 p.m. at any of the following locations: Bainbridge Community Center, Central Elementary School, Cloverdale Town Hall, DePauw Union Building, Fillmore Elementary School, Greencastle/Fillmore Trailhead (across from Wal-Mart), Putnam County Hospital, Putnam County Health Department, Purdue Extension Office, Reelsville Elementary School, Roachdale Elementary School or the Russellvillle Community Center.
