The DePauw University women's soccer team improved to 4-4 overall and 1-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference on Saturday after knocking off league rival Rose-Hulman, 2-0.

Katy Phillips scored at the 68:07 mark off an assist from Abby Gerwin and Lindsay Lund sealed the win with an unassisted score at 78:59.

DePauw outshot the Engineers, 16-4, and had a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks. Brooke Shipley recorded two saves in posting the shutout, while Rachel Miller had five saves for Rose-Hulman.

The Tigers will face Southwestern at home on Friday.
