The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its All-Conference Field Hockey Team on Sunday, as four DePauw University players earned honors and head coach Carla Lane was named Coach of the Year.

Lane, in her sixth season at DPU, led the Tigers to the No. 2 seed in the SCAC Conference Championship.

Fifteen players were selected to the All-SCAC team, including the four Tigers. Allison Baccich, Becca Gaines and Emily Wiscomb earned honors for the second-straight season, while Meredith Elli was selected to the team in her first season of collegiate play.

Wiscomb is a senior while Gaines and Baccich are juniors.

Sewanee's Charlotte Baptiste was named the SCAC Offensive Player of the Year while Centre's Sara DeSanctis was named the Defensive Player of the Year. In addition, Sewanee's Claiborne Buckingham was named the league's Newcomer of the Year.

The SCAC title game was also played on Sunday, featuring the Tigers and Centre, with Centre coming away with the 2-1 win.

Baccich scored with 9:59 remaining in the first half off an assist from Ellis to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead.

But Centre's Beth Faulkner scored with just 30 seconds left in regulation off an assist from Ashley Distler and Teresa Johnstone added the game-winner with 5:46 left in the first overtime to lift the Colonels to victory.

Centre outshot the Tigers, 10-0, including a 5-2 advantage in overtime, while DePauw had a 6-5 edge in corners.
