A Putnam County man accused of molesting and taking nude pictures of boys in his neighborhood pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday.

George Oea York, 74, Van Bibber Lake Estates, who was arrested last Friday on charges of child molesting, child exploitation, vicarious sexual gratification and dissemination of matter harmful to minors, told the judge "I did not do it."

The judge set his bond at $30,000, but York can buy his release if he puts down 10 percent, or $3,000, of his total bond. He will still be required to return to court on Aug. 23 for a pretrial conference.

York is accused of inviting three boys, ages 11 and 9, to his home and allowing them to watch pornographic videos on more than one occasion. He is also alleged to have molested at least one of the boys and photographed him nude. York denied the charges when questioned by police prior to his arrest.

He confirmed to the judge, on Tuesday, that he was convicted of child molestation is 2000 and is on the Indiana sex offender registry.
