Tigers get tight road win over Colonels in SCAC men's soccer action

DANVILLE, Ky. -- The DePauw University men's soccer team improved to 9-7 overall and 4-3 in the Southern Collegiate athletic Conference with a 2-1 victory at Centre Saturday.

The Colonels fell to 10-4-1 overall with the loss and 4-3 in the SCAC.

DePauw's win guaranteed the Tigers their 25th consecutive season at .500 or better.

Jeremy Rielley gave DePauw a 1-0 lead at the 11:51 mark before Kaes Kamman made it a 2-0 game at 26:46.

The lone goal for the Colonels on the day came from Nick Judah at 54:55.

The Colonels outshot the Tigers 12-8 in the match, but DPU had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.

John Fenley had five saves for DePauw, and Chris Creger had three for the Colonels.

DePauw will host Hendrix Friday.
