Ruth L. Leonard, 78, formerly of Putnam County, died Oct. 28 in Venice, Fla.

She had worked in Terre Haute, Brazil, Greencastle, and at IBM Corp.

surviving are her husband, Claude T. Leonard; sister Mary Clodfelter and husband Gerald, son Steve, two stepsons, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edna Love, brother Leroy, and a stepdaughter.

A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. Friday in Venice, Fla. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
