Glenn Eugene Herriott, 66, North Carolina, died Sunday at his son's residence in Shelbyville.
Born in Chicago, he was the son of Max. E. and Edna H. (Reynolds) Herriott.
He was a 1958 graduate of Niles Township High School and studied pre-law in college. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and had resided in Lexington, Ky,. and Greencastle.
He was employed in insurance sales for Indiana Lumbermans Insurance in Indianapolis. He had previously worked as a park ranger for Smoky Mountain National Park.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Max E. and Evelyn Herriott, Greencastle; two daughters, Lynn S. Flanagan and husband Robert, Morristown, and Denise H. Palmer and husband Bob, Dallas; a son, Wayne D. Herriott and wife LeeAnn, Shelbyville; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a grandson.
A memorial services will be conducted in spring 2007 at Smokey Mountain National Park.
