Norman Earl Thompson, 57, Plainfield, formerly of Belle Union, died Wednesday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born in Plainfield, he was the son of Clifford Earl and Nora Ida (Rooker) Thompson.
A 1968 graduate of Fillmore High School, he worked as a security guard at Adesa Auto Auction in Plainfield.
Survivors include three sisters, Ida Mae Guy and Phyllis Irene Clark, both of Plainfield, and LaDonna Sue Clark and husband Gerald, Centerville; two brothers, John E. Thompson and wife Marcia, Belle Union, and Richard D. Thompson and wife Karon, Cloverdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, and a brother Carl Melvin Thompson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale with Pastor Paul Fulp officiating. Burial will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.
Visitation is 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
