Robert E. Myers, 92, Hazelwood, died Thursday morning at his residence.
Born in Danville, he was the son of Edward and Sarah Coddington Myers. He was the owner/operator of a Marathon-Phillips 66 Station at U.S. 40 and County Road 0 from 1957 until 1993.
He married Muriel Mynatt and she survives.
Also surviving are sons Robert W. "Butch" Myers and wife Becky and Ronald Myers and wife Sandy, both of Hazelwood, and Russell "Buddy" Myers and wife Marybelle, Clayton; brother, Ezra Myers, Lebanon; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8 at the Center Valley Cemetery, Clayton, with burial to follow.
There will be no visitation.
