Tri-West tops Eagles

On Tuesday, the South Putnam wrestling squad faced Tri-West at home, falling 46-27.

South Putnam's Seth Green pinned Jared Alexander at 125 pounds while Logan Kinney earned a 9-5 decision at 135 pounds over Jake Smith.

At 145 pounds, Jon Parker decisioned Kyle Whitmore, 6-0, while Jeremiah Parrish pinned Zach Stetzel at 152 pounds. In addition, Hunter Edwards earned a decision win at 171 pounds over Nathan Joseph, 7-5, and Andy Peyton won by forfeit in the heavyweight division.

The Eagles will compete in the North Montgomery Invitational Saturday.
