Gil Lee Cloncs, 54, Crawfordsville, died Thursday Jan. 18 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis as a result of an auto accident.
Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Edwin "Guy" and Mary Lou (Malayer) Cloncs.
He graduated from North Putnam High School in 1970. He retired from the City of Indianapolis after 22 years of working on the city maintenance crew.
He is survived by his father Edwin "Guy" Cloncs, Roachdale; three sons, Nathan Cloncs, Roachdale, Aaron Cloncs and wife Kelly, and Jason Cloncs, both of Indianapolis; a brother Gary Cloncs and wife Lori, Crawfordsville; and sister Gayle "Sissy" Vanet and husband Dick, Reelsville; and two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and an uncle.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Lou Cloncs.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Roachdale Cemetery with Rev. John Nolan officiating. There will be no visitation.
