Isaac H. Whitt Sr., 75, Coatesville, died Tuesday at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.
Born in Tazwell County, Va., he was the son of Milburn Robert and Mollie Alice (Puckett) Whitt.
A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he had been a welder for Chevrolet Truck and Bus, Indiana-polis. He was a member of Deer Creek Primitive Baptist Church and U.A.W. Local 23, Indianapolis.
Surviving are a daughter, Elisabeth Whitt, Indianapolis; three sons, Milburn R. Whitt, Stilesville, Paul William Whitt, Brazil, and Isaac H. Whitt Jr., Indianapolis; four sisters, Alice Sparks, Indianapolis, Letha Stinson, Plainfield, Carol Baxter and Winifred Bryant, both of Greencastle; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters Lera and Amanda Whitt; sisters Rosie Ann Shrader, and Lera M. Cook; and brothers Thomas Therman Whitt, Raleigh Graham Whitt and James Alderson "Fuzz" Whitt.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Elder Kevin Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday.
