The Walden Inn recently donated $2,500 in proceeds from its New Year's Eve Gala to the United Way of Putnam County. On hand for the presentation included (from left) Walden Inn General manager Scott Pasch, United Way of Putnam County President Amy Doan and United Way of Putnam County Executive Director Cathryn Ensley.

A Pre-Prom Fashion Show and Dinner is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Green-castle High School cafeteria.

Students, parents, school faculty and the general public are invited to see male and female students model the latest fashions. Those attending can preview prom dresses, select a tux and be measured, schedule a hairstylist and nail tech, make restaurant reservations, and get discounts on local services.

Tickets are $10 at the door, or $8 in advance at the GHS office, First National Bank, Cross Cuts or by calling 721-3208.
