Doris A. Tongret

Doris A. Tongret, 83, Augusta, Ky., formerly of Coatesville, died Feb. 25 at the Maysville Kentucky Nusing facility.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Ralph and Gertrude Minter.

She was a member of the Canaan Community Church and attended Fillmore High School.

She married Charles Tongret, who preceded her in death in 1944.

Survivors include sons Leon Tongret, Sanford, N.C., Rolland Tongret, Edgewood, Ky., Alan Tongret, Phoenix, Ariz., and Sidney Tongret, Greencastle; daughter Deloris Bloom Tongret, Augusta, Ky.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

memorial services will take place at noon Saturday at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Augusta, Ky., and a private graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Canaan Community Church, Coatesville.
