EMT classes to start

Putnam County Operation Life, in conjunction with Area 30 Career Center, is now accepting applications for a fall Emergency Medical Technician Class.

The course will begin March 20 and go through July 17. Class sessions will be 6-10 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and three Saturdays. This course meets the minimum state guidelines for certification at the EMT-basic level and teaches basic life support techniques.

The cost for the course is $600 and there is a payment plan option. Students must be healthcare provider certified in CPR with two classes being offered prior to the course start.
