Charlotte E. Patterson

Charlotte E. Patterson, 80, Greencastle, died Monday.

Born in Greencastle, she was the daughter of William A. and Clova M. (McGill) Patterson.

A 1945 graduate of Greencastle High School, she retired with 31 years of service from First Citizens Bank and Trust in Greencastle where she served as head bookkeeper and also worked in the computer department. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 58 and VFW post 1550. She was a member of Putnam County Hospital Guild and had worked in the PCH gift shop.

Surviving are three nieces, including Linda Mundy, Greencastle; five nephews, including Don Patterson and wife Pam, Greencastle; and several great-nieces, great-nep-hews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harold Paul L. and infant brother William Wayne Patterson, and sisters Elizabeth Weadock and Mary Maye Cain.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Ross Walters officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
