Jimmy P. Shaw

Jimmy P. Shaw, 80, Greencastle, formerly of Cloverdale, died Friday at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born in Bono, Texas, he as the son of C.M. and Euta (Scott) Shaw.

He was a retired factory working, and was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of the Greencastle VFW, serving on the honor guard for several years, as well as a member of the Greencastle American Legion, D.A.V. in Elkhart, and the Cooties at large.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Anna Buchanan Shaw; daughters Exie Flora, Plainfield, Lilly Shugards and husband Robert, and Alma Eva, all of Indianapolis, and Kay Clutts and husband Mike, Mooresvillle; sons Steve Wayne Shaw and Jimmy Ray Shaw, both of Washington.

He was preceded in death by son Gilbert Eddie Buchanan.

Memorial services were conducted Tuesday morning at the Greencastle VFW.
