William Harrison York

April 20, 1937-March 13, 2007

William Harrison York, 69, Ladoga, died Tuesday at St. Clare Medical Center.

Born at Gainsboro, Tenn., she was the daughter of Herbert James and Lois (McCarter) York.

He was a member of Haw Creek Church of Christ. He worked for Layne and Myers Grain Co. and retired in 1981.

He married Lovie Jane Likens on July 22, 1961 at Celina, Tenn. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Donna (Carey) Bunten, Roachdale, and Lisa Hall, Ladoga; four brothers, Clifton York, New Market, Hershel and Roy York, Crawfordsville, and Ernest York, Utah; a sister, Margaret Osborne, Wingate; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded by his parents, sister Reba Deloris Coons, and brother James York.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ladoga Cemetery with Ivan Brewer officiating.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Ladoga.
