Robert Edward Creviston Sr., 79, Bainbridge, died Tuesday in Indianapolis.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the son of William Purl and Opal M. (Wood) Creviston.

He had been an electronics technician at Allison Gas Turbine Division of GMC for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and was a member of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Restoration Branch, Rolls Royce Heritage Trust and John Birch Society.

He married Helen L. Richmann Creviston, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert Edward Creviston Jr. and Mark David Creviston and wife Peggy; daughters Lisa Dawn Brown and husband Matt, and Laura Jean Watkins and husband Jerry; brother Richard L. Creviston and wife JoAnn; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel. Burial will be in Centerton Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
