Lucia Kathryn Smith, 61, Jamestown, died Wednes-day at St. Vincent Hospital.

Born in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Paul Clayton and Verna Kathryn (Brothers) Garl.

She was owner of Tiny Tots Day Care, and was a member of Jamestown Christian Church and its women's fellowship and UNI Sunday school class.

She was a member of Jamestown Red Hat Society, Job's Daughters, Jamestown Lions Club, founding member of Jackson Township Historical Society, and a 50-year member of O.E.S.

She married Curtis L. Smith, who survives.

Also surviving are four children, Kathryn A. Kimmel and husband John, Ladoga, Stephen P. Doreff and wife Missy, New Haven, Michelle L. Kinkead and husband Jerry, New Ross, and Sara C. Smith and husband Gary, Roachdale; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Larry D. Pierson officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Jamestown Christian Church, and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
