Charles W. "Chip" Williams

Charles W. "Chip" Williams, 46, Greencastle, died Tuesady.

Born in Kokomo, he was the son of Donald R. and Jacqueline A. Williams.

A 1979 graduate of Greencastle High School, he was a floral designer, beginning his career at Eitel's Flowers and Gifts. He had also worked in Chicago and Deland, Fla. He was formerly employed by Marsh Supermarket in Greencastle.

Surviving are his parents, Greencastle; brother David B. Williams, Fillmore; sister Catharine A. Slavens and husband Chad, Crawfordsville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother Larry R. Williams in 2000.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
