Walter Lee Boyd, 83, Dugger, died Wednesday at Harrison County Hospital, Corydon.
Born in Harlan, Ky., he was the son of John William and Sara (Cole) Boyd.
He was a fork lift operator at Burnet Binford Lumber Co. and a member of the Baptist Church.
He married Geneva Jones on March 3, 1956. She survives.
Other survivors include daughters Judy Mottern and husband Daniel, English, Jessie Wilmoth, Cloverdale, and Geraldine Little and husband Joseph, Cloverdale; son John Henry Boyd and wife Kandice, Dugger; brothers Henry Boyd, Indianapolis, Dannel Boyd, Indianapolis, and Paul Boyd, Tennessee; 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Willa Lee Carmack, sons Charles Boyd and Walter lee Boyd Jr., sisters Carnetta Boyd, Willa Rainey and Flossie Osborne, and brothers George Boyd, Charlie Boyd and Edward Boyd.
Services will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
Visitation is from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
