CRAWFORDSVILLE -- Greencastle's tennis team suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of North Montgomery Wednesday night.

Coach Trish Lowe called it a "good night for tennis (against) a tough opponent."

Number one singles player Kelsey Hennette dropped her first match of the season, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1, to the Chargers' Krish Bonebreak.

The Tiger Cubs' lone victory came from the number one doubles team of Kayla Birt and Savannah Provine. They came from an early deficit to win, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.

"Number one doubles had a great come from behind victory," Lowe said.

The Tiger Cubs return to action when they travel to West Vigo Monday at 5 p.m.
