Baseball sectional draws released

The IHSAA recently released the sectional draws for the 2007 baseball state tournament. Sectional play will run May 28-June 2.

At Cascade, both South Putnam and North Putnam will play games on opening day. South Putnam will take on Monrovia in the opening game. North Putnam will do battle with Cascade in game two.

Cloverdale drew the bye, and will take on the South Putnam/Monrovia winner on the second day of play.

Greencastle will be traveling to Owen Valley for its 3A sectional. The Tiger Cubs will take on Brown County in the opening game.
