Denato Migliorini

Denato Migliorini, 93, Chesterton, formerly of Griffith, died Thursday.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Griffith, and was retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Local 20 with 68 years of service. He was a former scout master of troop 531, a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award, and served with the Civilian Conservation Corp.

Survivors include two sons, Dan Migliorini and wife Marti, Michigan City, and Bob Migliorini and wife Gail, Chesterton; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Isabel.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Griffith, with Rev. Jim Armstrong officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland.

Memorial contributions may be given to the church or Alzheimer's services of Indiana.
