William "Bill" R. Rolls, 66, Greencastle, died Thursday at his residence.
Born in Forest City, Pa., he was the son of Albert and Marian (Maculaitis) Rolls.
He was a graduate of Vestal High School in New York
He was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a security guard with the Pinkerton Security company for several years. He was previously a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, worked at IBM and at the IYC Boys School in Plainfield.
He was a life member of the V.F.W. and a former member of the American Legion.
He married Margaret (Umberto) Rolls in 1961. She survives.
Also surviving are a stepson, Ron Robinson, Franklin; brother Randy Rolls and wife Sharon, Fishers; a grandchild; four great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers James and Thomas Rolls, stepson Ray David Robinson and stepdaughter Sandra Hannerman.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
Burial with military rites will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday.
