Dorothy C. Sweazey, 78, Greencastle, died Saturday at Putnam County Hospital.
Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Millard P. and Ina M. (Ingram) Darrah.
She had worked in the linen room at Putnam County Hospital and was a member of the Greenwood V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She married Charles Richard Sweazey. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters Sherry Priola, Speedway, and Roxey McClanahan, Edinburg; son Donald Sweazey, Lizton; step-daughters Judy Bennett and Charlene King, both of Indianapolis; step-son Richard Sweazey, Franklin; sisters Mildred Workman and Sandra Young, both of Greencastle; Betty Enlow, Fillmore; and brothers Donald Darrah, Greencastle, James Darrah, Arizona, and Millard Darrah, Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Jacquline Suddith, and brother Edward Darrah.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Chandler-Hays Funeral Home, Greencastle.
