A graveside memorial service for Lelia Mae Smith Lewis, who died May 21 in Sierra Vista, Ariz., will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at Fillmore Cemetery.

Born in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Charles F. and L. Berenice Dale Smith. She was a 1940 graduate of Fillmore High School.

She married Venice F. Lewis on Oct. 19, 1940.

Survivors include two sons, Gordon H. Lewis and Norman F. Lewis, two grandsons and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister Leota June Coffin.
