The Greencastle Fire Department responded to several recent runs.

On Sunday:

* At 1:02 a.m., firefighters went to 634 E. Washington St. for an electrical problem. They returned to the station at 1:37 a.m.

* At 11:44 a.m., firefighters were called for an alarm at 801 S. Locust (DePauw housing). They were disregarded before leaving the station at 11:48 a.m.

On Monday:

* At 1:54 a.m., firefighters went to 1065 Judson Drive to assist Operation Life with a medical patient. They returned to the station at 2:19 a.m.

* At 8:12 p.m., firefighters searched for a cat in a storm drain at 615 Ridge Ave.

They returned to the station at 8:35 p.m.
