Couple wed May 5
Kaila D. Christy and Jonathon D. Harkins were united in marriage May 5 at the Rose Hulman White Chapel. Pastor Brant Leidy and Joe Harkins officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Debbi Christy, Fillmore. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Karen Christy and Larry and Lana Schimpf. She is currently a student at IUPUI studying elementary education.
The groom is the son of Joe and Gloria Harkins, Duncansville, Pa. He is the grandson of MaryAnne Robilatto and the late Anthony Robilatto and the late Joseph and Wilhelmina Harkins. He is a 2006 graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and is employed by IKON.
Gracie Schafer served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kayla Bixel, Tabitha Clifford, Heather Webb, Andrea Whaley and Lauren Zeltwanter.
Best Man was Jeremy Harkins, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Josh Harkins and Joey Harkins, brothers of the groom, Drew Christy, brother of the bride, and Craig Abernathy and Toby Waggoner. Trey Harkins was the ring bearer.
The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
They reside in Indianapolis.
