Mary A. (Terry) Place, Indianapolis, died Wednesday.

Born in Belle Union, she was the daughter of Walter and Emma (Bowen) Terry.

She was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle, I.B.E.W. and retired in 1982 as an inspector at Western Electric.

Survivors include a son, Michael Place and wife Sally, Indianapolis; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a sister, Juanita Poindexter, Cloverdale.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lagrand J. Place.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center, Indianapolis.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
