Cloverdale picks up wins over West Vigo
The Cloverdale boys' and girls' cross country team picked up wins against West Vigo Tuesday. The boys won 25-30 and the girls defeated West Vigo 23-32.
Kyle Chambers was Cloverdale's top boy finisher with a second-place finish in a time of 20:58. Chris Arnold followed him in third-place in a time of 21:27 and Ryan Dean was fifth-place with a time of 22:02.
Zach Waycott finished the day in ninth-place with a time of 22:27, Brian Stout was 11th with a time of 23:29 and Nick Monds was 12th in a time of 23:44.
The Cloverdale girls' squad all finished in the top 10 on the day.
Jenna Lewis finished the day in second-place with a time of 23:18, while Chelsie Haltom was third with a time of 24:04 and Brynlea Mattocks was fourth with a running time of 24:30.
Alyssa Williams was sixth with a time of 26:07 and Ashley McCallie finished in eighth-place with a time of 27:30.
The Clovers will be on the road against Cascade and Monrovia at 4:30 p.m. today.
