The Greencastle Fire Department responded to two runs on Wednesday.

* At 12:38 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire alarm at 504 E. Seminary. Burnt food set off the alarm. They returned to station at 12:59 a.m.

* At 5:35 p.m., firefighters assisted Putnam County Operation Life with a medical assist at 1007 S. Locust. They returned to station at 6:09 p.m.
