GHS volleyball loses in three games

TERRE HAUTE -- The Greencastle volleyball team traveled to Terre Haute South Wednesday and endured a rough night against the Braves. The Tiger Cubs lost 25-10, 25-12, 25-13 to drop their season record to 7-10.

"This was a very tough team to play against," said Coach Trish Lowe. "We did some good things in the second and third games, but we had no answer for their jump serve and right side attacker."

Olivia Miller led the Tiger Cubs in three statistical categories. She had five kills, four blocks and 14 digs. Kelsey Hennette had nine assists and was 7-for-7 serving.

Kayla Nobles led GHS with three points.

The junior varsity lost to the Braves, 25-4, 25-11. The JV record is 3-8.
