Olivia Mary Dickhaut

Olivia Mary Dickhaut, 99, Greencastle, died Sunday.

Born in Posey County, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Wulf) Dickhaut.

A graduate of Protestant Deaconess Hospital in Nursing in Evansville, she earned a bachelor s degree in nursing from Indiana University. She was a nurse, nursing instructor and director of nursing at Protestant Deaconess Hospital, and served as a missionary nurse in China and Mexico.

She was a member of Gobin United Methodist Church and was a fulltime volunteer at the Lucille Raines Residence in Indianapolis until her retirement.

Surviving are sisters Florence Kriestenstein, Mt. Vernon, and Helen Aylsworth, French Lick.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Walter, Alvin, Emily and John Dickhaut, Esther Heneissen, Alice Grabert and Lillian Rhodes.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at St. John Methodist Church with Walter R. Dickhaut Jr., Mary Kay Aylsworth and John Aylsworth officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Methodist Church Cemetery.
