Youths bowl in national tourney

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Reggie Alex, Anthony Cosner, Blake Doolin and Britany Doolin, members of the Greater Greencastle USBC Youth Association, bowled in the USBC's inaugural National Open Tournament this past week.

They bowled on a sport pattern, which is quite different than the oil pattern they are used to bowling on in their regular Saturday morning league. They had the chance to bowl with youth from all over the country.

These four local youth bowlers participated in the singles and doubles events. Scholarships will be awarded for one of every four bowlers in the tournament per division.
