Fundraiser to benefit Putnam Humane Society

So it's not much of a jump for the owner of At Home Realty to help place animals in homes, too.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday during the Berry Street Festival, the real estate firm will host a fundraiser for the Putnam County Humane Society at its property, 1285 S. Jackson St.

The event will feature vendors selling concessions and stuffed animals and some fun activities for children, Hurley said.

The Humane Society will also be on hand to accept donations of money, pet food, blankets and towels. If the weather permits, the animal shelter will also bring along a few animals in the hopes of finding them homes, she said.
