A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Putnam County Public Library for Shirley M. Roof, 75, a Greencastle resident who died earlier this week.

Roof will be buried Saturday in Climax, Mich., though her friends in Putnam County can come together to remember her at the library between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Langeland Family Funeral Home in Galesburg, Mich.
