Loranza Newberry Worley, 100, Indianapolis, died Sunday.

Born in Overton County, Tenn., she was the daughter of Henry S. and Lottie Ledford Newberry.

She was a homemaker and member of Bainbridge Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Geraldine Malone, Irene Gibbs, Harold Worley and Anna Cummings; a brother, Dormal Newberry; 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, James Worley.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.

Visitation is 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
