Charles W. Sentman, 65, Waveland died Sunday afternoon at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born in Covington, he was the son of Charles E. Sentman and Florence Briner Sentman.

He was a 1960 Graduate of Turkey Run High School, a member of Waveland Masonic Lodge 300, attended Hillsboro Nazarene Church, and was an active auctioneer and appraiser for more than 40 years. He also owned, operated and maintained a sawmill in Waveland, and a pallet recycling facility in Hillsboro.

He is survives by two sisters, Rita Hartman, Waveland, and Beverly Chaplain, Rockville; and a granddaughter.

His parents and son Gregory preceded him in death.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home. Waveland, with Rev. Greg McDonald and Dean Hancock officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Ridge Cemetery at Waveland.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
