Wilbur Edwin Siebrase

Wilbur Edwin Siebrase, 83, formerly of Greencastle, died Thursday at his residence in Ft. Myers, Fla.

Born at Mackey, Ind., he was the son of Jon and Anna (Halwes) Siebrase.

He farmed until 1967, and worked at Farm Bureau Insurance till retirement in 1989. He was a chartered financial consultant. His memberships included Faith Methodist Church at Ft. Myers, Fla., Elks and Moose Lodges of Greencastle, Waveland Masonic Lodge 300, and he was a 32nd degree Mason.

On June 22, 1947 he married Jayne Eloise Jones at Shiloh Methodist Church at Hazleton. She survives.

Also surviving are five sons, Ray Siebrase, Russellville, Tim Siebrase and wife Diane, Bainbridge, Jon Siebrase and wife Susanne, North Manchester,

Bob Siebrase and wife Marlyn of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Daniel Siebrase and wife Kathy, Greencastle; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at Russellville Community Church.

Visitation is one hour prior to service.

Masonic services will be conducted. Rev. Lester Nile will officiate. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery, Russellville.
