Donna Marie (Nash) Michael, 81, Greencastle, died Friday at Mill Pond Health Campus.
Born in Brown Township of Hendricks County, she was the daughter of Ray and Frances Ellen (White) Nash.
She was a graduate of Brownsburg High School and attended St. Vincent's School of Nursing.
She married Robert S. Michael on March 27, 1948. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1986.
She was a homemaker and former member of American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Putnam County Hospital Guild and the Putnam County Saddle Club.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Michael and wife Nancy, Greencastle, and Richard Michael and friend Judi Huter, both of Greencastle; two daughters, Penny Schwartz and husband Dayton, Monrovia, and Kandee Cook and husband Bill, Rockville; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant daughter, two granddaughters, brother Gerald "Bud" Nash and sister Leona Linkmeyer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Chaplain Dave Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Bainbridge Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
