Arthur W. Neese Jr., 74, Greencastle, died Sunday at his residence.

Born in Clayton, he was the son of Arthur W. and Berneice (Rawlings) Neese. He married Virginia Jones on April 27, 1957, and she survives.

He was a graduate of Knightsville High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He was an electrician with Lonestar Industries for 41 years, retiring in 1996.

He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion.

Additional survivors include two sons, Oscar Neese, Brazil, and Charles Neese and wife Andi, Crawfordsville; a daughter, Pam Rose and husband Mike, Roachdale; 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Steven Neese, two brothers and one grandchild.

No services will be conducted at this time. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
