CLOVERDALE -- After opening the season with a loss to Covenant Christian on Friday night, the Cloverdale boys' basketball team rebounded with a big 85-39 win over Riverton Parke Saturday night.

Craig Blair led the Clovers (1-1, 0-0 WCC) with 31 points. Brandon Moon added 20, and Robbie Randalle was in double-figures with 10.

"In the 24-hour period, our team bounced back very well," Clover coach Pat Rady said. "Our offense and ball movement was much better than the first game.

"We shot the ball well and made a great improvement on turnovers," he continued.

The Clovers turned the ball over 20 times on Friday, but cut the total down to 11 on Saturday.

Individual statistics will be available in Wednesday's BannerGraphic.

The Clovers will face North Putnam at 8 p.m. in Friday's opening round of the Putnam County Classic at Greencastle.
