GMS 7th grade loses to Warriors

The Greencastle seventh-grade boys' basketball teams lost to Danville Wednesday. The A team fell 54-38, while the B team fell 31-16.

Turnovers and poor free throw shooting plagued the GMS A team on the night, as the committed 32 turnovers and went 8-19 from the charity stripe.

The Tiger Cubs were lead in scoring by Nate Christy with 13 points, followed by Hayden Stuckwisch with nine points. Logan Pell and Nick Nevins contributed four points each.

In B team action, turnovers against overwhelmed the Tiger Cubs. The B team committed 31 turnovers in their loss.

Daniel Patterson paced GMS with six points and Brad Gierke added four points. Ethan Perdue and Nick Nevins added two points each.

The A team is 2-3 on the season, while the B team is 2-2.

Greencastle will travel to Tuttle (Crawfordsville) at 6 p.m. Monday
