Senior cornerback Jevon Pruitt has been selected to play for the American Football Coaches Association's Division III all-star team that will represent the United States against the Mexican National Team in the 2007 Aztec Bowl on Saturday, December 8, in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the preview show slated for 4:30 p.m. The broadcast and region-by-region previews are available through the official Aztec Bowl site.

A first team all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Collegiate selection this year, Pruitt led the Tigers with six interceptions for 69 yards and broke up an additional nine passes. The Ann Arbor, Mich., resident totaled 37 solo tackles and 11 assists, while also forcing a fumble.

He was a d3football.com Team of the Week selection after recording two interceptions against Centre (the second straight week he intercepted two) and earned the team's defensive MVP honors for his performance in the Monon Bell win over Wabash.

Pruitt is the fifth DePauw player to earn an invitation to the Aztec Bowl.

Joining Pruitt on the USA team as an assistant coach for the third straight year is former DePauw head football coach Nick Mourouzis.
