Tiger Cub freshman split a pair

The Greencastle freshmen boys' basketball team split a pair of games this week, falling to Southmont 41-33 and defeating Cascade 41-28. 

Greencastle held a 13-8 lead after one quarter against Southmont and went into the second half tied. The Mounties outscored the Tiger Cubs 25-17 in the second half for the win.

Keegan Remsburg led Greencastle with 11 points and Kyle Parker added 10.

Against Cascade, the Cubs led 10-9 after one quarter and 19-17 at half. They then outscored the Cadets 15-2 in the third quarter to take a 34-19 lead into the fourth quarter.

Keegan Remsburg again led the Tiger Cubs in scoring with 13 points and Kyle Parker chipped in 11.

Greencastle (3-3) is off until Jan. 7 when they host North Montgomery in a 6 p.m. contest in McAnally Center.
