Kay Lynn Barnett Crabb

Kay Lynn Barnett Crabb, 47, Brazil, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Dec. 11.

Born in Clay County, she was the daughter of Joseph Franklin and Betty A. (Hillman) Barnett.

A 1978 graduate of Van Buren High School and a graduate of Harrold Beauty Academy, she was previously employed as a hairdresser at Fantastic Sam's and Holly Hill Healthcare Facility.

She is survived by her mother, Betty A. Barnett, Center Point; son Austin Wheeler, Brazil; daughter Sarah Crabb and partner Jamie Brown, Brazil; brothers David and Carol Barnett, Peyton, Colo., and Mike and Debbie Barnett, Rockville; sister Jane Crowley and husband Gene, Center Point; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at French Funeral Home, Brazil, with Revs. Ernie Rush and Myron James officiating. Burial will follow in Summit Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
