Eagles grab sixth win of the season

EMINENCE -- The South Putnam girls' basketball team recorded its sixth victory of the season as it defeated Eminence 55-47 Tuesday.

The Eagles were led by Oceaia Boetjer with 22 points. The trio of Meghan Canary, Bailey Birt and Liz Mink followed with nine points each. Leeah Butts scored four and Heather Hughes chipped in two.

Boetjer connected on three bombs from beyond the arc and Canary added one three-pointer.

Eminence was led by Aulani Sinclair with 29 points.

The Eagles will host the Eagle Tourney at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 29.
